The relatively new strawberry "Yotsuboshi", which was jointly developed by Mie Prefecture (wbf is located in Mie) and three other prefectures in Japan, was born as a "four stars (Yotsuboshi)" class strawberry with "sweetness", "sourness", "flavor", and "shape". The grains are relatively small, but the cross section is heart-shaped, and when you put the bright red fruit in your mouth, a mandarin-like scent passes through your nose.

"Beni-Hoppe", has the original acidity of strawberries, is moderately firm fruit. It features bright and deep red, and mildly sour taste. It will be delicious when sandwiched between cakes as well as eating raw. Our red cheeks are fully ripened to the utmost to create an exquisite balance of taste. It tends to be a big taste when it's big, however our premiere berries, often exceeds over 60g(2.1oz.), are well balanced sweetness and sourness.

"Akihime" is strongly sweet and the super-large grains often over 80 grams(2.8oz). It is a standard in the Tokai Region (central Japan), altough it is not very familiar in the west region of Japan. Because of its sweetness, it is favor of small children. Soft texture is one of the features for the "Akihime", therefore they have an extremely short expiration date to eat, no more than 2 days. You'll be Surprise at the sweetness.

We gurantee 2 hours experience of picking at wbf. You will pick and eat as much as you want in designated area. Have a fun and enjoy yourself. You may bring hot coffee and enjoy it with our strawberries.

Strawberry picking experience allows guests to pick and eat their own strawberries at the desinated lane(s). This or these lane(s) are occupied by you, therefore no other guests touch berries at the lane(s) before you come.

Amenities

Each paying guest or group will receive a basket to fill with amenities to help you at picking, such as condensed milk, wet towels. We also provide HerseysⓇ Chocolate syrup to dip with berries at the market stand.
